Currently in development, 'Holy Land' is an upcoming feature film written, directed by and starring Sean P. Malone. This sequel to the award-winning short film 'Grand Canyon' tells the story of a widowed Lutheran pastor whose peaceful pilgrimage to the Holy Land is made more joyful (if not also more complicated) by a chance meeting with a congenial Carmelite nun.
Over the course of three long conversations in as many distinct and significant locations, the two kindred spirits grow closer together as they share stories and sorrows. Billed as "a spiritual love story," 'Holy Land' is the tender telling of two souls drawn to and beyond one another through Christ and the powerful calling He has placed on both of their lives. |
